North Las Vegas’ day camp program, for children in kindergarten through fifth grade, features weekly field trips and swimming, themed days, special events, fitness activities and nutrition programming.

The University of Nevada Cooperative Extension Southern Area’s 4-H resident camp is set to be held at the Nevada State 4-H Camp from July 24-29 at Lake Tahoe. Registration is open to campers between ages 9 to 15. This year’s camp utilizes the 4-H Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math (S.T.E.A.M.) program. During the six days, campers will participate in activities centering on nature, healthy lifestyles, robotics, Global Positioning Systems, rocketry, dramatic arts, leadership, creative arts and more.
